Hello, lovelies! Since it's the end of March I thought I'd do a 'March Faves' post. I've never done posted anything like this but I thought it would be a great idea to start posting one of these monthly favourites much like other fashion and beauty bloggers. Anyway, I couldn't choose what was my favourite items this month as I have so many to choose from but I decided eventually on these items which happen to be a mix between fashion and beauty!
First of all, I chose the Topshop Joni Jeans which I l o v e! They are my favourite pair of jeans as they are so comfortable and look fab! I've noticed that quite a lot of bloggers have been wearing them and I understand why, they are high waisted, skinny and look great with absolutely anything! At first I was a bit skeptical as I thought they wouldn't last long or they wouldn't look as good on me as they do everyone else but I changed my mind as soon as I put them on! They are definitely the best pair of jeans I own and go with everything and for £30 as well, I thought they were a bargain!
My next fashion item is this tartan scarf. I bought it in Armstrongs in Edinburgh a few weeks ago and it's so cute! It's cut into a triangle and is more of a shawl but it is just the nicest scarf ever and adds to any outfit. I usually pair it with my leather jacket from Next and Joni Jeans but it looks fab with any casual outfit and is great if you just want to make an everyday outfit look even better!
Okay, now on to the beauty products: Firstly, this Bourjois lipstick and Rimmel London lip liner are a perfect match! I bought them for my birthday as I was in need of a new lipstick. The lipstick is part of the 'Rouge Edition' and is number 13 and I would absolutely recommend this if you love red lipstick. It's a bright red and doesn't leave your lips feeling really shiny but at the same time doesn't leave a really matted effect. When I wear this alongside the lip liner, I don't feel like I have to re-apply my lipstick after a few hours as it just stays on and looks fab!
The next few items include my Simple face wash, Percy and Reed Shampoo and my Body Shop face kit. I love anything by Simple so it is no surprise that this is in my favourites! It's a facial scrub and it smells a m a z i n g! I also use the facial cleanser and with both of them, my skin feels really clean and fresh! The Percy and Reed Shampoo was a freebie from Company magazine and I love it! It smells amazing and you don't need to use a lot at a time, if I could get my hands on these every month I would! Then, my Body Shop facial kit was in a '3 for £10' offer and it includes a toner, cleanser, night cream and moisturizer. It's part of my nightly routine and using the toner, cleanser and night cream makes my skin feel so smooth and make up free for going to bed!
My last few items include: GOLD nail polish, gold glitter nail polish and a teasing comb. I bought the GOLD nail polish from New Look a few weeks ago and I instantly fell in love with the colour! The pastel colours have been in fashion for quite a while now and although I never really paint my nails I thought that both of the pink and gold glitter would look lovely together... and they do! Finally, my hair teasing comb is from Primark and I bought it because I'd seen so many fashion bloggers do a review on them. My one cost me £1 and I think that for a price like that, it's great hence why it's in my March Faves! It gives your hair a certain volume and it is just great!
