Hello, lovelies! I've noticed that since the Summer is coming to a close and I'm about to start college, I've been having a lot more lazy days where I lounge about the house or I don't wear make up or even do my hair. I think that when I have one of these days, I always use the same sort of beauty products to keep my skin from breaking out or becoming too dry. The products that I use are really inexpensive and I would definitely recommend them as they are also really easy to use and are perfect for using on a lazy day! I hope you enjoy!:)
{excuse the poor quality of photos, I've managed to lose my SD card for my camera thus been forced to use my Nexus camera!}
Okay, first of all I wouldn't say I just use these for lazy days but they come in handy when you're having one! Usually when I wake up and I know I've got nothing planned, I'll go for a shower or something just so I can use all of these products. I bought these from B&M for 99 PENCE EACH. Oh my God, I about cried when I seen how much these were because they contain Moroccan Oil and of course, that is fabulous for helping your hair into better condition! I leave my shampoo on for about two minutes then use the conditioner which advises you to leave on for three to five minutes. I would absolutely recommend these products because they are amazing! They leave your hair not only feeling fresh, silky and clean but they leave a beautiful scent, too!
I feel like the next product(s) are ones I use only on days where I know I'm not going out. I love Carmex, it smells amazing and does wonders for your lips! I tend to only use these on days I'm staying home or not doing that much because I'm too much of a lipstick person to wear this on a daily basis. I use it once I've come out the shower and I'm feeling all fresh and clean and then reapply when I feel as though my lips are starting to chap.
The Vaseline is another product I don't use on a day-to-day basis as I use it only for my eyelashes. I apply this once I've come out the shower or before I go to bed when my lashes are make up free and they make them feel so soft and of course, they smell nice too!
These two products here are from the Body Shop and if I'm right, they were part of a ''3 for £10'' deal a few months ago. My mum bought the Aloe Vera pack and two of these Vitamin E bags. I normally use the toner as well but only when my skin is feeling extra clogged up and not really looking so great. However, normally I apply the cleanser to my cheeks, chin and anywhere on my face that I'm experiencing dry skin. I have combination skin which means I 'suffer' (I'm not sure suffer is the right word here... hahaha) from both dry and oily skin, like most other people I experience problems of oily skin in the T-Zone area. To avoid any further problems with oily skin I don't apply cleanser there and maybe I'm doing that wrong or whatever but I really feel that when I do apply cleansers and certain moisturizers that it only adds to the problem that I have! Anyway, yeah this cleanser is a definite must for making your skin glow and making it feel soft! Then, I use this Vitamin E Moisture cream. I only use this around my eyes as I feel that my eyes are a major problem area for either dryness or dark circles. I am not saying that this helps the dark circles or anything but it does make them feel a lot better and a lot fresher when I do apply this product. If this is still in the stores, I would definitely recommend getting your hands on one of these little packs because they are so useful and are extremely inexpensive!
And last but not least, the Clearasil Rapid Action Treatment Cream! I think I've probably used this far too much if I'm honest because I suffer from redness on my face and usually when I have a breakout, my skin just goes to town and has a major breakout. My few problem areas are my chin, the pores at the side of my nose and my forehead. When I was about 12 years old, I suffered from really bad skin (almost acne-like) and it made me really self conscious, I would layer on concealer and foundations that only made my skin worse and of course at 12 years old layering on make up was bound to cause more problems than fix them. This resulted in trips to the doctors etc but I was just told that it would go away as I got older. Now, six years on I'm acne free (fingers crossed) and I only have the occasional spot which causes a lot of soreness and redness. So, I use this or any other Clearasil related spot reducing product I can find. A lot of people I know tend to complain about the Clearasil products but I actually really like them and they're up there with my fave brand of all time - 'Simple!'
